Installation of Nginx 1.2 in Debian Squeeze from NGINX.ORG repository

To install nginx 1.2, you need to add an installation repository from the official NGINX developer site.

To add the NGINX repository to Debian Squeeze, you need to add:

vi /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://nginx.org/packages/debian/ squeeze nginx
deb-src http://nginx.org/packages/debian/ squeeze nginx

Then add the NGINX.ORG repository key with the command:

wget -O - http://nginx.org/keys/nginx_signing.key | apt-key add -

Update the repository with a team:

aptitude update

Install nginx 1.2 with the command:

aptitude install nginx
