Chasing the optimization and speed of the server running on Debian with the hosting control panel, ISPmanager installed Eaccelerator. When you open the phpmyadmin application at IP-SERVER/myadmin I received an error – a white screen instead of requesting a login and password from phpmyadmin.
The same situation with the white screen when you open a page phpmyadmin (myadmin) is possible when installing Xcache or APC – these are all php code caching systems that are put on the server to increase the speed of the site and reduce the load on the server.
The white screen error is solved when opening phpmyadmin very simply - disable the caching systems Eaccelerator, Xcache and APC in the web server for phpmyadmin.
To disable caching systems in the Apache2 web server, you need to make changes to the file. /etc/apache2/conf.d/phpmyadmin.conf:
vi /etc/apache2/conf.d/phpmyadmin.conf
was:
...
php_admin_value safe_mode off
DirectoryIndex index.php
...became:
...
php_admin_value safe_mode off
# APC:
php_admin_flag apc.enabled Off
# Eaccelerator
php_admin_value eaccelerator.enable 0
# Xcache
php_admin_value xcache.cacher Off
php_admin_value xcache.stat Off
php_admin_value xcache.optimizier Off
DirectoryIndex index.php
...After saving the configuration file, you need to restart the web server with the command:
/etc/init.d/apache2 restart
Open phpmyadmin, see the request for a login and password from phpmyadmin.
After the end of the work, we will take a short break and watch a small video:
